    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney " ?; E) @% _0 C% c! d# [
    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand - n$ U9 Y: b1 d- U( q3 Z
    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters
  V: x& n! g, k7 m1 j0 I  R/ ~    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent
. I$ L% x- J% o    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a / N$ X6 A1 ^% L0 M$ G% F
    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the , }0 Y% m  {/ {1 Q8 |- W
    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement
