    The firm is running a Summer Placement Scheme for a limited

    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney * E/ s* k7 ]" P, _
    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand
2 z; T1 q8 f5 D8 ]& G+ c$ ^5 B    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters
2 s: X; {. i& c4 ^! p1 ~  e: t: s    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent 5 \- r- n5 K- Z1 a4 k) l
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a
5 `6 t8 O/ K! Q# U/ u4 i* t    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the 5 S* @2 q$ l3 }  ]
    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement
! u0 l) }) G% z: \    students with an audience of patent attorneys.
