    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters
" R) M% K8 ?. p/ P% s% J    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent 7 S# c" Q; c* }9 K. O2 f& g. s7 h
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a
9 Q: F" [9 ?% J0 W: o% |/ N    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the # [2 `7 k% R/ G+ ?$ S  a- g% L, C7 |
    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement   R$ D8 S* A+ B$ X, E
