    The firm is running a Summer Placement Scheme for a limited

    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney
- w6 h* ^, q( `+ n3 b/ m    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand
0 {* `- G  c8 M3 X5 u    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters
( F8 f: I+ r$ \& O! E; I: F    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent
7 ?+ X1 B; J! G$ {* d: d9 ?# e    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a # j6 h2 Y4 j0 b: v
    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the ) r  R# P* j, `( S! V" o
    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement
  Y5 g1 X6 Z1 P% t    students with an audience of patent attorneys.
