/ F) x; d9 b; a/ Z/ iWork visas because the Home office has not accepted the confirmation
: y# o4 Y' I- h2 S! Jof award letter issued by the Student Services Centre as proof of the
7 l0 l: \( u1 S; a( G! Hstudent's award. We wrote to the Home Office about this issue and they( m2 K6 I1 Q5 y1 ^
have now confirmed that our confirmation of award letter (the version4 q) {6 Z2 o3 W  P5 n  S
issued in or after November) is sufficient proof that a student has$ Y" \) J9 W5 k* r. k9 A+ ^* P. _
been awarded their degree. They have also agreed to reconsider) G) k& b7 [( |; b1 d4 E
students' applications which were refused on this basis.

If you have had your Tier 1 – Post Study Work application solely
) ?' R, g3 X4 h; p9 ^refused because the Home Office did not accept the validity of the7 r+ E4 J' M6 X1 n
confirmation of award letter issued by us then you need to come to the
) e( [$ m% L( ~Student Services Centre to speak to a member of the International
. |. s; C3 E+ C: _Advice Team. You also need to bring in your refusal notice and the
) Q. f8 K8 Z0 D# G$ Dconfirmation of award letter that you submitted as part of your
" W) D$ r. G. D3 r2 y% n! [original application. In order to do this you must ring us on 0161 275
3 r+ x  m$ y0 S. w5000 (Option 1) to make an appointment to see a member of the
# P2 F, x4 d/ P" qInternational Advice Team.

NB – We cannot advise you if you do not bring in your refusal notice/ {) G9 B3 U! r& {
and the confirmation of award letter you submitted with your original
