- j" E1 R( O) J    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney
- n+ ]1 R9 ^4 U) p$ V) t( t1 Y5 ?8 g+ s    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand " x! P" t0 W, a
    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters ( T* f4 k7 D3 Z  i2 i4 o
    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent 5 Q6 k( J4 j2 p2 V+ A
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a
4 t  b" J+ l9 }    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the # ]) M: h8 n0 i# L2 {
    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement   z" \$ s) j4 K9 e! y  c* s
    students with an audience of patent attorneys.
