8 _2 d8 ~3 C- Q3 p: a# |In order to maximize the use of the Chinese books, Huaxia Chinese School plans to provide a mobile library service for pupils. To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week.

Keeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;& O8 J5 P' r+ D+ G5 E8 Y0 [5 {# [/ N

% `6 _2 o) \- f5 O2 `5 PHelping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;, D* k+ E) r4 M0 w# i
o
) k2 u1 O3 T, `! ]Liaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;

Dealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly% G! g$ b0 ]! L/ Z8 S% I

Undertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines)

Maintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly: ]  \3 n% [. a  D0 E

be reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details

be familiar with common office software such as MS Office

have Internet access and is willing to be trained for updating online book list

be able to communicate in both English and Chinese( V* D: j: ~1 I5 v+ w% ^( w4 U2 A! x  `
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.& M" P7 X/ K  b
