To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. 1 ^; |" S9 U" s/ QKeeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;

! \( r) ?3 g1 }! v! [% x7 iHelping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;* M$ Y, v$ u! ?  K. s0 i

Liaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;  |1 C; F+ r2 a3 d2 P- P1 g9 c

Dealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly8 V8 s$ N! K/ b- U: T% L6 |+ f. c

Undertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines): [; _- C2 I3 i6 n7 V

Maintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly

have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision;

be able to communicate in both English and Chinese
' Z2 \: k6 c2 D" C% _Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.
