To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week. 4 `# W' E, a. R* \Keeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;# m. E3 V  K0 I" z! f7 d. {  W

Helping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;) X# I3 O* Z2 I0 z5 m. ?1 H

4 V6 W) m6 a' i& |4 ]: S1 h. aLiaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;# \% D' s' k$ D; Y6 g

Dealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly* Q, H3 K% j  u* _3 u

Maintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly" J8 c" ]0 Z; p% O
The ideal candidate should

# a5 s9 I: v" g" l* Ibe reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details
5 d, X) U) t& o# {7 So! S, C  e/ @" F
have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision;
* q1 {) `% z2 u  z7 Y5 }$ qo5 k- F9 G6 e1 v3 F+ s
have own transport# W3 f6 @6 R* [' E7 o6 |

1 `3 m7 q& T9 d9 ^7 b4 pbe familiar with common office software such as MS Office  M3 [9 U5 Z6 V4 _

have Internet access and is willing to be trained for updating online book list' J. }- f; x& `# t4 r

/ _6 Q+ u, M6 tbe able to communicate in both English and Chinese& n8 z, I- c+ P
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.
