    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand , }  f1 @$ V$ e5 w7 W/ n/ C2 L
    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters
7 T) C6 G, L( i    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent " m' R7 O) p- M9 O! [5 j3 r$ Q
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a 5 Y2 k7 R& `4 o4 w# s- C: Q2 I
    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the / X" ]# c* A+ H1 B8 V
    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement ' M+ G. F: G% J7 X/ T
