    designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney ! {: G$ m% B7 }# r
    really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand
& U* t& G* x* m% @1 c    experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters 6 `4 o5 G5 @: W
    within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent 1 f4 Z0 A3 y2 P  I8 A) o
    drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a % H7 ~, D! V- z5 T5 J
    contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the
1 N+ ]7 O" j, A5 ?7 U    placement to defend or challenge a patent against other placement 2 i  _* a: p2 a/ v8 C! n9 v' ^
