To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week. * g0 d) h  V3 w, s1 p

0 A: g; R+ [4 N6 C+ t+ Q/ Y# S8 h5 y* TKeeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;4 N# ~& {8 i+ E7 N) I8 B

Helping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;

. b( I5 }. ^( N0 Z7 j9 WLiaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;

/ D  v# {8 u) b& JDealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly$ \: \' _2 C7 x; Z3 {

Undertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines)) c1 u: p. ^+ i3 b! R
o/ m" o6 l" t) ]5 J' E
Maintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly( N# p* V( r. Y, Y. U* x  N: T1 o1 B
The ideal candidate should

be reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details' G1 n& y6 }4 l+ u8 @0 {

4 }" U2 F* ?! ^! l4 l( O3 V% hhave ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision;

* ]$ D$ \7 V; W5 o, Nhave own transport. z9 \' o4 d. s% S
o8 ]+ R0 E3 y- T7 a, O. A4 S
be familiar with common office software such as MS Office5 D  P3 e+ x6 E7 W

have Internet access and is willing to be trained for updating online book list9 Z/ f3 J- K2 h: q

be able to communicate in both English and Chinese' N) j; e; d  g+ }
Previous experience of working in a customer service environment would be an advantage.' E5 m( @3 {' d# F
