- |- c; D. [: zIn order to maximize the use of the Chinese books, Huaxia Chinese School plans to provide a mobile library service for pupils. To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week.

Job responsibilities:

Keeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm;! c. j4 E1 T! b

$ }3 A, L' K" ?' E ]Helping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;

7 o% C1 b4 P" V8 p$ zLiaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week;, C2 w s. J# ~% v! A

3 z+ {! t" i& q: b; rDealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly0 c) M' |& W* I2 k' {6 _7 Q& R: H

The ideal candidate should

be reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details4 c( O- w0 m7 p5 [: D$ j6 H

have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision;

have own transport

have Internet access and is willing to be trained for updating online book list
