The firm is running a Summer Placement Scheme for a limited 1 w1 @2 \; N# o" Q. u9 N number of candidates in the week starting 3 August 2009 which is $ p( {' \8 U! R) l3 o, C designed to show postholders what the job of a Patent Attorney 1 t) a/ o" x- e6 c* \- b! k* J
really entails. Successful candidates will receive first hand 3 ^% n2 h) D8 O/ F1 M experience dealing with the UK Patent Office on high tech matters 4 ]1 q7 P- n! l, [
within their own field and will be shown the basics of patent 7 m9 S( d# J, s/ \. ~ drafting. Finally, successful candidates will handle a $ V& T+ a& ] [" f7 {/ i
contentious matter using skills learnt over the course of the * r- _$ Y2 h7 R
