In order to maximize the use of the Chinese books, Huaxia Chinese School plans to provide a mobile library service for pupils. To ensure the smooth running of the library, the School intends to recruit a library administrator. The job will start in September 2007. The wage will be round 20 pounds per week. 3 _( s. Keeping the school library open for most Sundays during term time from 11am to 1pm; , A9 y- d( r; ] n2 mo * z. L) `, m; M# Z$ K9 `6 t, lHelping on setting up an effective library procedure for borrowing and returning books;# \, _8 p0 P C/ i' R) q3 E

Liaise with the Head teacher to ensure stock maintenance for weekly need, including carrying small number of books between the school and storing place every week; & d% j0 D0 B& P) U1 W4 D" jo ( x( W# E- v: ~4 J; a+ I* mDealing with customer enquiries such as book reservation, renewal and other general queries relating to the library stock via email and/or on Sundays at School desk, and retrieve the requested item accordingly5 e. Undertaking limited cash handling (e.g. fines)9 a0 b1 {* {2 c/ U7 ], ^

Maintaining borrowing record and updating available book list accordingly , b4 Y* M5 c* P; \% DThe ideal candidate should2 R- m4 E, C" h: A2 W0 J+ z
o , Z) u. c/ `7 [) U' Mbe reliable, responsible and friendly, having attention to details ( }) ?3 V9 {+ }o ( F( E3 [" w: T/ W j; |have ability to work under pressure and with limited or no immediate supervision; % K+ F. \- V9 W0 Qo , I" \; ]0 K- u' I0 c0 Lhave own transport( g: @. v# I. k; O
