We are looking to recruit a Senior Trade & Investment officer who will lead in Southern China on one of the 5 high priority sectors and manage a member of staff who will assist on this and deal with a combination of other sectors.

You will be a self starter and a clear and confident communicator in both English and Mandarin and have responsibility for:* O* h9 O; a* V/ y% a
5 O! {# s( b- v5 V$ e" N- j$ \4 bCollecting sectoral information and identifying business opportunities and market barriers for UK companies.
+ i0 g2 w2 }- WActing as a relationship manager for UK companies with operations here in Southern China
. q" I. x& Z# w+ S* w NSupport high level visits, inward and outward missions as part of the UKTI Business Plan
) C: g& o3 I0 k- Z& FIdentifying suitable marketing opportunities for the UK within your sector

Relevant work experience in business development, ideally in the Pearl River Delta

A working/professional knowledge of the UK
